New Executive Director
August 27, 2008- Terri Sinnott-Chardukian, Chair of the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce, has announced the selection of B. L. “Lou” Molitor as its next Executive Director. Molitor has served as President for the Lake County Chamber of Commerce for the past two years. Under Molitor, the Lake County Chamber of Commerce enjoyed membership growth, quality programs, and value for its members.
Previously, Molitor served as Vice President of Business Operations for Northpointe Resources in Zion, Illinois. A Kenosha native, Molitor earned his BA in Psychology from Marquette University and achieved his MBA from Cardinal Stritch University.
The Chamber conducted a national search for the Executive Director position resulting in 20 candidates. Chardukian stated that with the selection of Molitor, she is confident with his experience the Chamber can build strong and professional relationships with organizations throughout the City and County of Kenosha. Molitor will be a very productive and positive influence for the Chamber.
Molitor added that he is “excited to lead the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce at this time for the organization. Kenosha County is a place of fantastic opportunity. I believe I will add value to the organization by refining and communicating the vision of the Chamber to the business community and then realizing the vision through mutual accomplishments and successes.”
The Small Business Regulatory Review Board of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Would Like To Hear From You!
If your business is being unnecessarily burdened by out-dated existing state administrative rules or regulations or you feel your voice is not being heard on issues related to existing state administrative rules or regulations then the Small Business Regulatory Review Board (SBRRB) would like to hear from you! State rules that are out of date or no longer necessary may create an economic burden for small business. In many cases state regulatory agencies are unaware of the negative effects that and out-dated administrative rule may have on a business owner. Small business owners should educate the SBRRB about ineffective, out-of-date existing state regulations that are ripe for reform.
