The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce provides Certificate of Origin certification for Chamber Members through essCert, a secure online platform for processing international trade documents.
A Certificate of Origin verifies the country in which goods were produced, manufactured, or processed and may be required for international shipments.
Submit Certificates Online
Chamber Members can use essCert to submit Certificates of Origin and supporting documents electronically for Chamber review and certification. Once approved, certified documents can be returned electronically, eliminating the need to bring or mail documents to the Chamber.

Not a Chamber Member? Businesses that regularly need Certificates of Origin are encouraged to explore Chamber membership and the benefits available to Members.
Certificate Costs
Certificates of Origin processed by the Chamber are billed monthly at the following rates:
- First 30 certificates each calendar month: $20 each
- Additional certificates within the same calendar month: $15 each
These rates apply to Certificates of Origin processed either electronically through essCert or in person.
Paper Only Certificates of Origin
Some countries or receiving facilities may require an original paper Certificate of Origin with the Chamber’s physical seal.
Paper certificates may be brought to the Chamber office Monday through Friday from 8:30am–4:00pm for certification.
