Foundation & Scholarships

The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation awards scholarships to students that display positive character, leadership skills, academic excellence, community involvement, and future aspirations.

Each year, the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors as well as adults looking to further their education. These scholarship opportunities are open to all employees of Chamber Members. Scholarships are formally awarded each year at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting.

Scholarships for High School Graduates

Since 1994, college scholarships have been awarded to Kenosha County High School students that display positive character, leadership skills, academic excellence, community involvement, and future aspirations. Among other qualifications, applicants must have a connection to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce either through an employer or a parent/guardian’s employer. In 2024, the Foundation plans to award a minimum of four $2,500 scholarships.

Scholarship applications are currently being accepted and will be due April 19, 2024.

Scholarships for Women Adult Learners

Tempo Kenosha has partnered with the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation to provide two $1,000 scholarships for the continuing education of local women to attend Carthage College, Gateway Technical College, Herzing University, or UW-Parkside to obtain an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s Degree.

Tempo Kenosha is a group of diverse accomplished women in business, public service, education, and the arts, who have demonstrated excellence and community leadership. The Kenosha chapter holds monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of the month where speakers present on a variety of subjects in both professional and personal development.

Scholarship applications are currently being accepted and will be due June 20, 2023.
